Full steam ahead: World of Warcraft's Grimrail Depot dungeon is sure to become a favourite

World of Warcraft Grimrail Depot

After almost a decade of designing dungeons for World of Warcraft, you’d think that Blizzard might have run out of steam. But this fight through one of Warlords of Draenor’s dungeons, Grimrail Depot, suggests otherwise. The dungeon is a train. A moving train no less.

It looks bloody fantastic.

Grimrail Depot is situated in Gorgrond, home of the Iron Horde on Draenor. Much of the zone is a wasteland punctuated with orcish industry, where the orcs of the Iron Horde develop their war machines.

Parties will be able to enter the depot and jump on a runaway train, battling their way through the legions of the Iron Horde and their goblin engineers.

Below, you can watch a preview of the dungeon from Fatboss and a playthrough from AdriaCraft.

Cheers, Kotaku

Honestly, I'll probably be back before the expansion launches. I'm itching to play again.

If people fancy it, that might be something we could do.

Not I. I have been free of the wow demon for quite some time, and I'm deep in the thrall of the FFXIV demon... Even Wildstar being generally awesome couldn't pull me away.

I stop playing WoW at the end of Burning Crusade but i have yet to find a 5 man dungeon which is as much fun as The Sunwell.

Unreal tournament anyone? I remember clearly playing on a train that kept moving forward. It was quite a unique experience.

Looks great fun, but the two lads commentating sound like they've dropped an American pill. Maybe I'm an old bastard, but I cannot stand it when fellow English people speak like they're auditioning for the cast of Beverly Hills 90210 or Clueless.
