Blizzard recruiting for Mentoring Guilds: think Eve University, but with orcs.

Comment

Ahead of the Mists of Pandaria release date, Blizzard have begun to recruit guilds to acts as mentors for new and returning World of Warcraft players. The Guild Mentoring program will nominate one guild per server as a place where new players can learn about the game, and band together through dungeons and, eventually, raids.

To qualify for the Guild Mentoring program, guilds that apply will be required to change their name for the four months the program will be active, and be at least level six. The program will only be active on select realms. No rewards are on offer to guilds who enter the program, other than recognition.

What a lovely idea.
