2XKO tier list - best champions ranked

Who ranks the best on the 2XKO tier list? It's time to assemble your team of League of Legends champions as you face off against the strongest competition the internet has to offer. The 2XKO roster may be limited compared to its older MOBA brother, but the combination of teams you can comprise with the champions available means the gameplay will never be stale.

To annihilate the competition in the fighting game, you need a pair of 2XKO characters who synergize well with each other, giving you ways to open up your opponent in any situation. With new champions set to join the game after every season, you can expect the 2XKO meta to change every few months as we get closer to the full 2XKO release date. Here's a breakdown of the 2XKO tier list, taking a look at each champion to see what they can offer your team.

2XKO tier list

Our 2XKO tier list is based on our experience with the game, as well as tournament results and high-level matches. From what we've seen, there aren't any terrible characters, so you don't need to worry about choosing the 'wrong' fighters. It's also important to factor in that this tier list ranks each character, not any team pairings.

On November 17, 2025, Riot confirmed on its blog how it's going to approach character balancing moving forward. After seeing Yasuo and Ekko continue to dominate at the highest level, Riot has confirmed it will be toning down these characters to ensure every character is viable at all skill levels. Starting with Season 1 in 2026, Riot is planning to release balance patches every five weeks to address any glaring issues like we've seen with the deadly duo.

S-Tier

Yasuo

A highly technical swordsman, Yasuo is one of the more complicated champions in 2XKO, requiring hours in training to get the most out of his complex moveset. He can put enemies in a mini-cutscene with his feature-length combos, slicing his way to victory with lightning-fast strikes that can lead into additional combos.

Yasuo's only real downside is his choice of assists, but even then, he is so strong that you'll most likely play him as a point character. Yasuo is undoubtedly the strongest character in the game; just be warned that you will need to spend some time in the lab to realize his true potential.

Ekko

Ekko's strength comes from his afterimage clones, forcing your opponent to keep track of potentially three enemies on the screen. When Ekko places an afterimage on the field, his mix-up potential skyrockets as he has access to easy cross-up attacks and overheads. He also has access to Timewinder, a projectile that slows enemies down on hit, leading to deadly combos.

Though you don't have as much to learn combo-wise as Ekko compared to Yasuo, mastering the afterimage mechanic will make your Ekko a nightmare to deal with. To get the most out of this tricky fighter, you need to be good at varying your options in a fight. If you become too predictable, you won't be able to get any value from your afterimage clones, and if you can't land any mix-ups, you might as well pick someone else.

Ahri

With access to an instant air dash, Ahri is one of the most agile fighters in 2XKO, featuring fantastic movement options to open up her opponents. She also has access to long block strings that can be converted into combos if you land a hit, though the amount of damage you'll get from those combos depends heavily on your execution.

Ahri compliments practically every character on the roster right now, and that's in part because she feels like a support character rather than a powerful point character. Her powerful assists make her a constant threat when off the field, but on point, her best combos can be difficult to consistently perform.

Teemo

We originally underestimated how good Teemo would end up being, and who can blame us? You can't expect much from a little Yordle, and while he doesn't seem like the best fit in a fighting game filled with robots and werewolves, it turns out he's just as dangerous as they are. Featuring an arsenal that consists primarily of survival gear, Teemo has been designed to frustrate his opponents using tools like his blow dart, wild mushrooms, and rocks to stop people in their tracks.

Teemo is always going to be a niche pick due to his strange moveset which most players probably won't gel with. However, if you take the time to master his strengths, Teemo's combo potential is absolutely absurd, and he's capable of setting up scary mix-ups with his deadly instant overhead.

A-Tier

Illaoi

Despite Bleed's incredible performance at Frosty Faustings XVIII, we're keeping Illaoi in A tier for now, but this may change if others can replicate his success.

If you're looking to cause as much damage as possible in the fewest hits, Illaoi has you covered. This heavy-hitting champion can smash your opponents to pieces with far-reaching attacks, and as soon as you land one of those attacks, you're ready to start the smashing process all over again.

What's more, Illaoi doesn't require incredible execution, making her a fantastic fighter to learn the ropes with. Her assists and her supers are also some of the best in the game, featuring tentacles that open up unique combo routes for both Illaoi and her teammates. Like with a lot of brawler-type fighters, you will be susceptible to projectiles, but if you play to her matchups, you should be fine.

Jinx

Utilize Jinx's arsenal of weapons to dominate the field, capable of zoning out opponents with a barrage of projectiles to frustrate anyone standing in your way. To take this even further, this also extends to her assists, making it easy to get in with characters who lack strong ranged attacks. If Jinx isn't firing rockets at you from fullscreen, she's placing traps to create setups, allowing her to dictate the pace of the fight.

Though it's not a weakness per se, Jinx is best suited to patient players who are willing to wait for the perfect opportunity to strike. She may not be the best at creating combo opportunities for herself compared to some fighters on this list, but she more than makes up for this with her annoying zoning attacks.

Warwick

A rushdown monster designed to stop your opponent from getting a spare moment to breathe, Warwick uses his speed to keep the opponent guessing, slashing his way to victory. He also has access to one of the only invulnerable anti-air attacks in 2XKO, forcing your opponent to think twice before jumping in. His Bloodlust ability ramps up the mayhem, featuring some of the best mix-up options in the game.

He's only been out for less than a week, so it's difficult to assess just how powerful he actually is. His execution demands aren't that high, with simple BnBs dealing considerable damage, making him a great option for beginners. Everything we've seen from Warwick makes us believe he'll be a very solid pick, especially when paired with a zoner to fill in some of his weaker areas.

Vi

This close-range boxer can pummel her opponents in a flash, capable of avoiding projectiles with ease thanks to her Footwork ability. Vi is at her most dangerous when fighting on the ground, stuffing out any attacks using her fast pokes, which lead into long combo strings.

The big problem is that a lot of what happens in 2XKO takes place in the air, and that's where Vi's weaknesses really shine. Her air attacks are some of the worst in the entire game, but this may not be an issue if you're good at keeping your composure.

Darius

Darius is arguably the best fighter at low ranks, capable of cutting through his enemies with his mighty axe, causing a bleed effect in the process. His combos are some of the simplest in the game, and he can't be easily punished for throwing out random normals. However, he can be punished with advanced defensive techniques like retreating guard and parry, and his moves are so slow that good players can stop Darius in his tracks.

He does provide his team with powerful assists that work offensively and defensively, making him very useful when he's not on the field. Darius isn't a bad character by any means, but at the highest level, he doesn't have the tools in his moveset to break through top-tier defenses.

B-Tier

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank's initial arrival in the closed beta made the community believe it could become the strongest character in the game, but those opinions soon faded once players started to work out how to get around his lethal command grabs. Blitzcrank is still considered a strong pick, and their strong assists can be considered some of the best in the game, but like most grapplers, their playstyle can be hit and miss.

What makes Blitzcrank worse than many fighters on this list is the way they can get completely shut down by projectiles, making it very difficult to get your offense going. With that said, once you're in, you can create a 50/50 setup after one combo to flip the game on its head. If you like those odds, Blitzcrank may be the fighter for you.

Braum

Grapplers are never the most popular characters, and so it's no surprise that Braum is among the least picked champions in 2XKO. That has nothing to do with his strength, however, as he's capable of putting his opponents into a virtual blender, forcing them to guess on wake-up. If they make the wrong move, Braum has the opportunity to finish the job, eliminating anyone in under three simple combos.

Braum feels like a stronger version of Blitzcrank, but he suffers from the same weaknesses as his grappler friend. He's especially bad when his partner dies first, making it almost impossible to get up close because he has limited options against projectiles.

Caitlyn

Another zoning-focused character, Caitlyn holds off her opposition from a distance using her rifle. It's still very early days for Caitlyn, but so far she doesn't offer anything that we haven't already seen. To make matters worse, she's particularly  bad as a point character, where she feels incredibly weak and slow compared to the rest of the cast.

Caitlyn doesn't have anything in her arsenal that makes her stronger than Teemo, aside from her assist, which almost guarantees that she's able to tag out without taking any damage.
