The HP July 4 sale is still going – nobody tell them it’s not July 4 any more – and we’ve got one more hardware deal to highlight for you. This is a good one: a brand new PC, with all the trimmings, for just $500.
The HP All-in-One 24-f1055z is a great way to get into the wonderful world of PC ownership if you’re on a budget. From a gaming standpoint, it’s not exactly ray-tracing ready, but it should run most modern games at modest settings. It offers the latest AMD APU, a quad-core, eight-thread Ryzen 5 3500U processor with integrated Vega 8 graphics, clocked at 3.7GHz. You also get 8GB of memory, 1TB of HDD storage, and a DVD writer drive – ample for office work.
But this is an all-in-one PC, and that means it comes with peripherals, too. You also get a 24-inch full HD display with an HD camera, built-in dual speakers, and a basic mouse and keyboard into the bargain. Ordinarily it would set you back $670, but the HP sale knocks $170 off (a 16% discount).
Sound good? Check out the All-in-One on the HP store here, or show it to a friend you like enough to lure away from the dark side of console gaming. If you’d rather upgrade your own rig, you might also be interested in a lightspeed mechanical keyboard, a dual-monitor bundle deal, or a laptop that can ray-trace.
