Expeditions are the best way of putting your expertise and your time to good use if you plan on raiding for the foreseeable future. What are Arc Raiders Expeditions?
Expeditions are the Arc Raiders' version of a reset. It's a way for seasoned players to start over and become more powerful than before. Expeditions ask you to donate a ton of items, asking players to grind for resources, and in return, are rewarded with things like skills, points, cosmetics, and extra stash slots.
As well as the aforementioned rewards, you also lose a fair bit when completing an expedition, so think wisely before you throw everything away.
Here is everything you lose when completing an expedition:
- Player level
- Skills
- Entire inventory
- All workshops and upgrades
Anything bought with real money (cosmetics, etc) will remain on your account, but you will essentially be set back to zero. Tutorials will be light, and all maps will be open from the beginning, so you can jump right in and build towards the next Expedition, if you like.

You will have to gather a lot of materials to embark, but if you are eyeing a trip, here is what you'll need for each Arc Raiders expedition:

Arc Raiders Expedition dates
The current Arc Raiders Expedition began on March 2 and will run until April 29, when the finalization phase begins, and you'll be asked whether you want to commit to the wipe. The Expedition will close on May 11, where all players who signed up will depart automatically.
Catching up on skill points has changed somewhat with this latest Expedition: instead of skill points being awarded for stash value, they are now doled out for damage dealt. This counts for players and Arc alike, so get out there and start spraying indiscriminately.
