Armello’s first update, Armellians Roar, gives players more control over the game

Armello update

Armello, the lovely digital board game that pits furry critters against each other in a game of thrones, will receive its first update next month: Armellians Roar.

What’s in the digital box? More control over games seems to be the big addition. The update will launch with house rules, allowing players to customise their games with different rules. The pacing of matches will also be improved, at least in single-player games, thanks to the addition of a fast-forward button and a new ‘Quick AI Turns’ mode.

Beyond gameplay tweaks, players can expect new items, like armour and weapons, along with an Easter Egg inspired by savage roguelike Darkest Dungeon.

League of Geeks promises improved stability in multiplayer matches, as well.

“Our intention has always been to keep improving Armello with feedback from the fantastic community,” said Trent Kusters, founder and director, League of Geeks. “The new update addresses the many requests we received for more customization options and house rules. We look forward to continuing our dynamic relationship with Armello fans, improving Armello in concert with our community as we have since the start of our Kickstarter campaign.”

Armellians Road will arrive on November 10th.
