Today, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia landed on Steam thus completing the trilogy of 2.5D series spin-offs that previously ventured to China and India. Now, the threesome has been rounded up and packaged together, and Ubisoft have launched a new trailer to mark the occasion.

Each of the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles entries boasts very different, very distinct art styles but there’s an argument to made that the latest, Russia, looks the best.

Sure, India’s vibrant pastel shades are at times stunning, however the early 20th century propaganda-inspired artwork shown here – with its black and white backdrops, dashes of red and occasional flashes of orange – to me looks even better.

You can decide which you prefer yourself, as the latest trailer journeys through each era showcasing protagonists Shao Jun, Arbaaz Mir, and Nikolaï Orelov’s handiwork as they take anyone who dares cross their path to task. Here they are in fighting form:
