Online videogame store Green Man Gaming turns ten years old this month and, to celebrate the milestone, it’s holding a big birthday event with “multiple deals, giveaways, and community rewards”. Kicking off the anniversary celebrations, starting from today there’ll be ten days of “top deals and freebies” – and the sale on right now includes 75% off Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Phwoar.
As you can see on Green Man Gaming’s site (as of this story), the action-RPG game’s Standard, Deluxe, Gold, and Ultimate editions are all a whopping 75% off each, with the regular version priced at just £12.60 / $15.12. Elsewhere in the sale, FromSoftware’s 2018 remaster of the first Dark Souls is 65% off, the newly-released XCOM: Chimera Squad is less than half price at 56% off, and Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition is discounted 45%.
There’s a pretty hefty batch of games to grab for less in the sale, but other highlights include discounts on Just Cause 4 (74% off the Reloaded Edition), Civ VI Platinum Edition (65%), The Outer Worlds (43%), and Resident Evil 2 Remake, which is currently 58% off.
In addition to the sale, there’s a tenth birthday ‘wheel of mystery‘ offering some free games to go with purchases. “Buy any birthday sale featured deal and,” the page reads, “as a little thank you, you’ll get a spin on our Birthday Wheel where you’ll get a mystery game”. Sweet!
