Battleborn will get five free heroes post-launch, plus season pass

Battleborn

Gearbox’s character-packed MOBA-shooter Battleborn is due a lengthy amount of post-launch support, the headline of which are five new characters that will be completely free for everyone. They’ll be joined by a big mix of free and paid-for DLC, which can – naturally – be bought up-front with a season pass.

Does Battleborn have the skills to join the ranks of the best shooters on PC? Only time will tell.

Five add-on packs, priced at $4.99 each, will release after the game launches May 3rd, and each one contains a new PvE story operation, skins, and taunts. The whole lot can be bought for $19.99 in season pass-form.

Additional maps, modes, and community features will be provided free of charge, as well as the five new heroes, which will eventually bring the total roster of characters to 30.

The first character you can expect to see released is Alani, a water-controlling hero who’ll have a selection of healing skills.

Should Battleborn be very clearly your thing, you can buy absolutely everything in the Digital Deluxe version of the game, which contains Battleborn, the season pass, and extra cosmetics, for $74.99. Any takers?

Thanks, VG247.
