Battlefield Redsec map - all POIs and best loot areas

With ground loot playing a huge part in the Battlefield BR, we have the full RedSec map, including the best areas for high-tier guns.

Where is the best loot on the Battlefield Redsec map? The heavy reliance on ground loot in Redsec means that it pays to know where to look - you can't afford to be caught short in the early game, especially when danger can lurk around any corner, or behind any wall, for that matter. Here is the full Redsec map, and our advice for where to drop first.

The Redsec release date is finally here, and players are scratching their collective heads about the best place to drop in Fort Lyndon. There are a ton of POIs, but not all are made equal, as you'll soon find out. Here is where you should be going to find the best BF6 guns, and every point of interest on the Redsec map.

Redsec map - best loot areas

From the outset, you'll notice that there are a ton of built-up areas around Fort Lyndon, and generally speaking, those will be your best bet for finding top-tier guns. The issue you and your squad will run into is that the most dense areas are usually also the most congested, so while you will find a ton of gear, you'll also likely run into a lot of other players.

Our favorite places to drop on the Redsec map are:

  • Area 22B - specifically the tower with its guaranteed class crate.
  • North of Area 22B - lots of loot, and you can easily kill those suckers (us) that land in Area 22B.
  • Evac Bravo - a quiet drop that houses a lot of loot spots.
  • Radar Site - lots of crates and a lot of height over the surroundings for easy snipes.
  • Lighthouse - hectic early game opens up Boutique District if your squad is successful.

Our advice for finding the best loot is to land around the edges of the Redsec map, concentrating on military areas like Combat Training, Evac Bravo, and Radar Site. You should get the chance to loot up with top-tier ground loot, making you a menace for those squads who are scrambling for a decent loadout.

Depending on where the circle begins, you may be forced more central than you are used to - that's fine, you can always complete a few missions to get your custom loadout. Just be on the lookout for squads looking to ruin your day.
