EA unveiled a new multiplayer mode and map for DICE’s upcoming sequel in the Battlefield series today at Gamescom. The new game mode, Obliteration, is a race against the clock for two teams who need to secure a bomb and plant it at the enemies base. We’ve got a video demoing the mode on another newly announced map dubbed Paracel Storm.

Also announced is a multiplayer beta coming in early October. You can also start saving up for the Battlefield 4 Premium: a $50 membership that will net buyers the first five digital expansion packs through to summer 2014.
