After many, many months, Battlefield 4’s Second Assault DLC is finally coming to platforms that aren’t the Xbox One. We already knew this though, because Origin jumped the gun and revealed the release date of February 18th last week.
So EA’s just confirming what we know but shouldn’t know: Second Assault will launch next Tuesday. But, because there’s always a but, that’s only for Premium members. Everyone else will have to wait another fortnight, when it launches for everyone on March 4th.
Second Assault contains four classic maps from Battlefield 3: Operation Metro, Caspian Border, Gulf of Oman, and Operation Firestorm, all reimagined using the Frostbite 3 engine.
Quickly following its launch is another piece of DLC, Naval Strike. It’s moist romp across the sea, with the Chinese armada kicking up a fuss in the ocean. New weapons, gadgets and amphibious vehicles will be at your disposal across four all-new maps: Lost Island, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar.
It’s launching in late March for Premium members.
