Bioshock remasters system requirements revealed, along with details on how to get a free upgrade

BioShock Collection

Good old 2K have just released a bunch of information about the PC versions of the Bioshock remasters, like how existing owners get the upgrades for free, as well as the system requirements to run the things.

I do like stuff for nothing. If you do too, why not have a look at our list of the best free games.

If you’re a long time PC gamer, you probably have Bioshock and Bioshock 2 on Steam. Hell, you probably picked them up for a few quid in a sale some time. Well, you’re still getting remasters fro free, including Minerva’s Den, if you own the acclaimed DLC.

Bioshock: The Collection, and the free upgrades, launch globally on September 15, 2016 on Steam at 3pm PT (12am UTC/ 8am AEST September 16).

If you already own Bioshock, Bioshock 2, or Minerva’s Den on Steam, the remastered version for the corresponding title will automatically show up in your Steam library as a separate game. You just need to choose whether you want to install the original or the remaster.

There are some additional hoops to jump through, but you can also get a free copy if you own the games elsewhere. Check out the 2K release for more information.
