One of the most common complaints levelled against Blood Bowl 2 seems to be the lack of races. The Warhammer American Football analogue is fat with different teams and races, and players of the last version, specifically the Chaos Edition, had dozens to play with. Blood Bowl 2 launched with only a handful.
Cyanide promised to release more as DLC, but of course this promise causes its own worries, like having to buy these races when you’ve already dropped cash on the game itself. Indeed, there’s already premium DLC in the form of Lizardmen and Wood Elf races.
It’s not all bad, though. As a thank you to their customers, Cyanide are releasing four new races, starting in February next year, and they’ll be free to all Blood Bowl 2 players, as long as they own the game prior to the launch of the DLC.
The Norse race will kick things off, followed by the Undead, Nurgle and Necromantic races. They’ll be released regularly after the Norse arrive in February.
