CEO of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, revealed on Twitter that Gearbox HQ was the victim of a bomb scare yesterday. Plano Police Department sent out a response of police officers and bomb removal squad to deal with the possible threat, including a nifty robot. Thankfully, no evidence of a bomb was found, and staff could quickly return to the HQ safely.
Claptrap would be proud.
Randy Pitchford broke the news yesterday with a series of tweets.

“Someone is out of control! Bomb disposal unit called to Gearbox HQ parking lot to deal with car bomb threat.” said Pitchford. “Bomb disposal robot in action in Gearbox HQ parking lot!”
Eventually after taking refuge at the Plano Tower, the all clear was given after police investigated and cleared the suspected car.
