Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer shows off new four player co-op survival mode

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Exo-Survival

A new trailer showing off all the things that are included the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise, has provided a first look at a new co-op mode: Exo-Survival. The mode will dump up to four players into a map, where waves of mechanised soldiers will do their best to hamper your objectives.

A co-op mode has been a staple feature in every Call of Duty game since the introduction of the popular zombie survival mode in Call of Duty: World at War. Since then we’ve had Spec Ops in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and the new Extinction Mode in Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The new Exo-Survival mode has a mix of objectives that, when completed, gives you some nice rewards. Fail however, and you’ll have to live with a penalty – what exactly is not yet known. Upgrades are available between rounds, and are also persistent between sessions.
