What is the BO7 Ashes of the Damned easter egg song? It's that time again, a new Black Ops game has arrived and, with it, a new round-based Zombies mode is waiting to be played.
Already, it seems Treyarch has hit the ball out of the park once again as the Ashes of the Damned main quest - the first of BO7 - takes us through the sprawling map via farmland, warped villages, and more. As you explore, don't forget to look out for the Ashes of the Damned easter egg song requirements, and let Kevin Sherwood's latest rock anthem soundtrack your gameplay.
How to activate the Ashes of the Damned song
Treyarch are keeping things simple since we're carrying on the BO6 Zombies story, and, as ever, you're still looking for three sets of Mister Peeks headphones. When you find them, interact with them, and you'll hear a creepy cackle. Interact with all three, and the easter egg track will play instantly.
The locations of the Mister Peeks headphones are:
- In the Server Room in Janus Towers Plaza.
- Outside a house in Ashwood.
- In a car at the gas station at Exit 115.

In the Server Room in Janus Towers Plaza
In the spawn area, the Server Room is the first location you need to unlock. In here, you'll find T.E.D.D's head, essential for completing the Ashes of the Damned main quest or crafting the Wonder Weapon. Also hidden away in here, however, is a pair of Mister Peek headphones.
You can't really see them, but interact with the southeast corner of the central cabinets, nearest the Quick Revive machine, and you'll hear Mister Peek's signature laugh.

Outside a house in Ashwood
In Ashwood, you'll find another set of headphones at the location above, on the ground on the outside of the building. Again, you can't see anything, as they appear to be hidden under some floorboards, but it's there.

In a car at the gas station at Exit 115
Finally, (though you can complete these in any order), you must interact with the rear passenger's side door (driver's side in the UK) of a 4×4 parked at the Exit 115 gas station, near Reba's Diner. If done correctly, the incredible track below will play instantly!
What is the Ashes of the Damned song?
The first easter egg song for Black Ops 7 Zombies sees both Kevin Sherwood and Elena Siegman return together. Both are Treyarch Zombies soundtrack veterans, last appearing together on Black Ops 6's The Reckoning easter egg song. As ever, Sherwood himself created every easter egg song for the last game with a range of contributing artists.
Now you know how to trigger the Ashes of the Damned easter egg song, you'll have the perfect audio accompaniment to your zombie slaying. Dare we say this is our favorite yet? To ensure you can enjoy it properly, ensure you're listening through the best gaming headset money can buy.
