What are the Black Ops 7 Zombies maps? Following the disappointing Zombies entry in MW3 in 2023, Treyarch pulled it out of the bag for Black Ops 6, delivering a stellar return to the round-based mode we all love. Black Ops 7 proves that wasn't just a fluke, and the Zombies mode is truly back on top form.
While we consider Infinite Warfare's Zombies in Spaceland among our favorite maps, we agree with the majority of CoD Zombies fans that Treyarch is the undisputed champion of the zombie game mode. For Black Ops 7, Treyarch combines classic characters with the ongoing Dark Aether storyline for these ambitious BO7 Zombies maps, while also reviving the retro-inspired Dark Ops Arcade mode.

Every main Black Ops 7 Zombies map
The main, round-based Zombies maps so far are:
Astra Malorum (Season One)
In a dev vlog prior to release, Treyarch design director Kevin Drew hailed Astra Malorum as "one of the coolest maps" the team has ever made. Following the map's Season 1 launch, we have to say we agree.
A medium-sized map, Astra Malorum is much easier to digest than Ashes of the Damned, and is somewhat reminiscent of BO6's The Tomb mixed with lashings of Shattered Veil and a pinch of Infin's aforementioned Spaceland. The story behind it even harks back to BO6 as well, as this museum once belonged in Liberty Falls, but was somehow lifted from the American town and transported to space.
Traps
There are myriad cool traps in Astra Malorum, from the epic rocket launcher trap outside to the three unique traps you'll use as part of the Astra Malorum main quest. Use any and all of them to kill standard zombies when you're in a pinch - but you should also use them against this map's Elite Zombie, OSCAR.

Ashes of the Damned
First off, Ashes of the Damned is a sizeable map, comparable to the legendary Tranzit from Blops 2. Tranzit is one of the biggest Zombies maps of all time, surpassed only by Terminus and Ashes of the Damned itself. This was because of its moving bus system, giving players a unique new way to get around.
Fans of the original Tranzit map will be gleeful to hear that, in Ashes of the Damned, Tranzit bus driver TEDD, a sassy, deteriorating robot, returns. Here, he's no longer driving a bus, but instead guiding you as you pilot Ol' Tessie, a Wonder Vehicle and rusty old pickup truck that is going to be your only form of transportation around this huge map.
Take a look at our Ashes of the Damned main quest walkthrough if you want to complete the easdter egg before Directed mode is added.

Special monsters
You should know by now that you're not just dealing with zombies here. As rounds increase, Elite monsters and other dastardly foes start appearing with increased frequency, including Ravagers and Zursa.
Ravagers are the equivalent of BO6's Vermin, a small, fast creature that's lower to the ground, meaning they're harder to kill when you're aiming for those zombie headshots. Keep your wits about you when these grotesque critters start appearing, and quickly point your weapon towards the ground before they pounce.
An even greater challenge comes in the form of BO7's Elite Monster: Zursa. A blighted bear, Zursa is incredibly strong and fast, and also has the ability to deal damage from a distance thanks to its parasitic infection. These 'Zombees' (that's an official term, not another 'baby rave') fly around in swarms, dealing damage to anyone who enters their area of effect.

Saw Blade Traps
We're actually calling these awesome new traps 'baby rave' (it'll take off), and they might just be our favorite part of this new map. Like other zombie traps in previous Black Ops games, these traps cost Essence, but give you a great way to kill a large number of zombies when you're overwhelmed or running low on ammo.
Like the iconic Monkey Bomb, the Baby Rave trap (sorry, Saw Blade trap) draws all nearby zombies in with its music. In this case, it's a banging house track, and, like the military baby doll sat atop the trap, we can't stop dancing to it either. You tell us if it's more of a distraction than a help.
Luckily, as long as you don't need to make a run for an ammo cache or PaP while you have the time, this powerful trap grants you a few seconds to rave it up as it insta-kills zombies en masse with its spinning blade. As always, the trap has a cooldown, so we recommend saving it for troublesome Ravager rounds.

All BO7 Zombies survival maps
These maps are all just condensed standard mode maps, and you can't complete the usual quest line here - you're just playing for survival. Packed in such a tight space, you've got plenty of items at your disposal. Survival maps directly mirror their Ashes of the Damned POI counterpart in terms of returning machine, crafting bench, and cache locations, but any that would be missing from this area - for example, the PaP machine - are also added in, ensuring you have access to all the usual items and mechanics. There will also always be a Der Wunderfizz machine, Mystery Box, Arsenal, and a trap.
Zombies survival maps are smaller sections of the greater Ashes of the Damned map, so you'll recognize these locations from the normal round-based mode.

Vandorn Farm
Vandorn Farm is the first Zombies survival map, and the only one that launched with Black Ops 7. The farm's small size certainly creates a wild challenge, especially in later rounds. There's little space to train, especially playing in a team, and there's certainly nowhere to hide.
There are two farm buildings and a smaller shed in Vandorn Farm, all requiring door unlocks. The Der Wunderfizz machine is upstairs in the residential house, which also has a basement, housing the Arsenal, and which is linked to the house's total unlock cost. The smaller shed is home to the Mystery Box, while the Pack-A-Punch machine can be found upstairs in the main farm building.
As ever, you won't be able to open any doors or use the PaP machine until you've turned on the power, and this requires a brief mini-quest at the start of the match. Since this map is so small, we recommend getting this out of the way as quickly as possible.

Exit 115 (Season One)
This survival map centers on a classic, neon-lit, American diner. You'll know it as part of the main Ashes of the Damned map if you've played that even once, but in Survival mode, you're restricted to the very small area inside and around the diner and gas station, giving you a unique challenge.

Zarya Cosmodrome (Season One)
Another survival map ripped from Ashes of the Damned, Zarya Cosmodrome is slightly bigger than Exit 115, especially considering the underground and aboveground rooms you can open. Plus, the main area is a larger, more rectangular space than the narrow road through Exit 115, so it's far easier to whip your zombies into shape.
Future Survival maps could include the likes of The Fog, Ashwood, and Blackwater Lake, all singled out as other Ashes of the Damned POIs in an official Call of Duty blog post.

Dead Ops Arcade 4 arenas
Dead Ops Arcade is technically considered a map in itself, and, within that map, there are various levels, or 'arenas'.
Complete with over 20 of these unique arenas, each with its own variety of rooms, Dead Ops Arcade 4 has something for every die-hard Zombies fan. Whether you choose to play in classic top-down perspective or the new first-person view, you'll be battling the Silverback family and hordes of zombies across archaic ruins, archeological digsites, and, is that Nuketown?!
These are the BO7 Zombies maps available so far, but more are on the way in future seasons, and we'll add them to this guide as they're announced. While you're polishing your BO7 Wonder Weapons for your next zombie-slaying adventure, take a look at the changes to the BO7 Zombies Augments system, as well as the cool new BO7 Perk-A-Cola: Wisp Tea.
