Treyarch’s sneaked a Snapchat icon into Black Ops 2 in a recent update, letting players add callofduty as a friend on the picture messaging app.
If you add callofduty as a friend on Snapchat you’ll gain access to a cryptic video of a blinking eye and a sun-dappled forest.
Feel that tingling? Yes, that’s your brain warming up for the start of an ARG.

While this confirms nothing, this Snapchat campaign would line up well with the reveal of Black Ops 3. After the release of Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts and Sledgehammer’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfrare, it is Tryarch’s turn to release a new game in the series. And, with E3 only six weeks away, now would be a great time to start a reveal campaign.
