You’ve probably noticed a couple of additions to COD’s multiplayer weaponry in the form of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Ram-7 and Holger-26, but how do you unlock these powerful new items? The latest COD update has added a bevy of new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare weapons, including a new LMG and a Tavor-inspired assault rifle, but if you’ve spotted either one of these in multiplayer matches or even the menu you may be left wondering how to unlock them for yourself.
The answer is pretty simple as both are free rewards in the shiny new Modern Warfare battle pass. That means you don’t have to buy either one or the battle pass itself in order to get your hands on them. To progress your battle pass you only need to rack up XP and level through the tiers until you reach the two new gameplay items.
The Holger-26 is the first unlock at tier 15 of the battle pass, while the Ram-7 is unlocked a little later at tier 31. Compared to last year’s Black Ops 4 battle pass system, these new weapons are available with a mercifully reduced grind.
How to unlock the Holger-26 and Ram-7 in Modern Warfare
While the Ram-7 and Holger-26 are free, you can get them both instantly if you purchase the necessary battle pass tiers with COD Points, the game’s premium currency. If you plan on playing a lot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare this season and don’t want to buy any battle pass progress then you shouldn’t have any problem grinding these for free to flesh out your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare classes options.
Purchasing 31 tiers with COD Points isn’t cheap, so we advise choosing the free option or ignoring the grind completely.
