Black Ops 2 Collector’s Edition contents revealed; PC gets a little left out

If you like your games to be given the steel press stamp of collector’s approval then you may need to build your own because it appears the PC has been left out of the running for a physical collector’s edition. Instead we’re treated to a digital version that comes without all the touchable paraphernalia (including a working remote control quadcopter).

Not one to give our readers a short shrift I present you all the information in both the medium of video and word. If audio’s more your thing I can only suggest reading it aloud in an echo chamber. Taste and touch? I’m open to suggestions.

This is what our friends on the console are able to buy for $180:

We on the other hand are only able to throw $80 Activision’s way. That’ll get you the Digital Deluxe Edition:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops II game
  • Bonus maps:Nuketown Zombies & Nuketown 2025
  • In-game items: weapon camo, two player card backgrounds
  • Game soundtrack by composer Jack Wall (includes Trent Reznor’s theme)
  • Call of Duty: World at War game (via downloadable token)

If that’s all the Black Ops you need then pre-orders are open through the Black Ops site.

The game is due for release on Novermber 13th.

We’re contacting Activision to see if there’s just been a little mix up on the press releases.
