Cities: Skylines hire community modder Shroomblaze to make a DLC pack, out now

Cities: Skylines community content creator

Glorious art deco architecture is now available to Cities: Skylines players by way of the game’s first content creator DLC pack. Made by community modder Matt “Shroomblaze” Crux, the pack combines a number of buildings Crux made for the game into one purchasable DLC bundle, sharing some of the revenue with the creator in the process.

The aim of the content creator packs is to highlight the work of key community modders, while providing players with a single bundle of themed creations, including some unique items, for $4.99/£3.99. Buildings in the Art Deco pack can only be acquired by purchasing the DLC and include three unique buildings modelled after real-life creations like the Empire State Building, six commercial buildings and six residential variants. Some of them are pictured below.

Perfect for city styled after New York or Miami’s South Beach. Future packs are planned that will incorporate other key modders’ work, so a roundabouts and intersections collection must surely be on the horizon. You can buy the Art Deco DLC here.
