Being the start of winter, Sega are getting us warmed up for Christmas by giving away a free update for Company of Heroes 2. Turning Point adds new maps, a map editor, new features, and commanders.
The biggest addition Turning Point brings is undoubtedly the map editor that lets you share maps easily with the community. Unfortunately Relic haven’t provided any details of the complexity the editor allows. Hopefully we’ll learn more about it closer to its 12 November release date.
It comes with one map for 2 – 4 players, Rails & Metal, and a larger map that caters for 6 – 8, Lazur Factory.

On top of the map and editors are new commanders. Soviet Reserve Army and German Mechanized Commanders, to be more specific.
The update also brings a new public chat section to the game and co-op play for Theater of War battles.
