It’s not often you see a decent, big-brand 240mm liquid cooler going for under $90, let alone under $60, but if you get in quick, this AIO cooler deal on Newegg enables you to pick up a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L V2 ARGB for just $59.99. Not only does this CPU cooler have a 240mm radiator and the ability to cool a powerful CPU, but it also has RGB lighting on both the pump unit and the fans, making your PC look great in the process.
Usually priced at $99.99, the ML240L V2 ARGB is already featured on our guide to the best AIO cooler as our favorite budget design, but it’s a steal at this price. A pair of Cooler Master’s SickleFlow 120 ARGB fans are included in the package, offering ARGB (addressable RGB) lighting so you can control their color and pattern, and the same goes for the glowing Cooler Master logo outline on the pump unit.
You can hook up this cooler’s RGB cables to 3-pin headers on your motherboard (it’s compatible with Asus Aura, ASRock Polychrome, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light), or you can connect them to the hardware RGB controller that’s included in the box.
This V2 version of the cooler also features Cooler Master’s third-generation pump design, and increases the surface area of the fins on the radiator compared to the original design, enabling it to dissipate more heat. This cooler is rated to handle a TDP of up to 200W, so it’s an ideal fit for the Core i5 14600K, or the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
Bear in mind that this cooler originally came before AMD’s AM5 socket had been released, so there’s no mention of AM5 on the box, but Cooler Master states on its website that the mounting brackets will indeed work with Socket AM5 motherboards as well.
There is one word of warning, however, as I’ve used this cooler myself, and you do have to contend with a lot of cables, both for the RGB lighting and to power the fans and pump unit. Before you install it, have a good look at your case’s cable routing holes and think about where you’re going to thread all the wires and tie them out of the way.
