That iconic grand strategy franchise, Cossacks, is returning to PC this September and bringing with it 10,000 unit battles, five historical campaigns and loads of beautiful examples of Eastern European and Russian architecture. Slated to be a reboot rather than a sequel, Cossacks will be available to buy as a physical release or on Steam on the same day: 20 September, 2016.

The last Cossacks game, Cossacks: The Napoleonic Wars, was released all the way back in 2005, making this return of the franchise 11 years in the making.
