Being killed with a Zeus in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is one of the most rage-inducing things that can happen, and it’s no surprise that ex-professional Source player and popular streamer Mohamad ‘m0E’ Assad lost his cool when he got zapped passing through Z on Cache.
The streamer, who was playing in the FPL-Challenger ladder on FACEIT, was left with egg on his face after he told his team – who were battling to stay alive on match point – that he didn’t want to play anymore. Instead, the embarrassed streamer was left to watch as his teammates – who may I point out were trying to work their way up the ladder towards the pro league qualifiers – got destroyed by yet another Zeus and a knife.
The clip of the final round has been shared widely on Reddit, much to the delight of CS:GO fans, simply because it has everything. The magic of this beautiful FPS game has been captured in all its glory – there’s two Zeus kills, one knife kill, a ninja defuse attempt, and good old-fashioned team conflict. I mean, you couldn’t make it up even if you tried.
While it’s obvious that there’s some trolling, and m0E is… well, being his usual self, the clip is by far one of the best things to come out of the FPL-C this year. Forget discovering new talent and watching them rise through the rankings, this type of content is what’s needed.
And, although we’ve all got a kick from this chaotic round, I do hope m0E’s learnt his lesson and will check his corners more closely in the future.
