Ubisoft’s crime-spree open world racer The Crew is skidding into open beta this month, but PC players get to seize pole position by getting into the event a whole two days earlier than console gamers.
To paint a picture, that means we on the PC are hurtling along in McLaren P1s whilst the Xbox and PlayStation crowds trundle along in their Nissan Micras.
Whilst the open beta goes live on July 23rd for those in the slow lane, we’ll be granted access on Monday July 21st. The open beta will then be available for the remainder of the week, untill Friday 25th.
The open beta only provides missions set around the east coast and the midwest, but the actual open road map will allow you to travel the whole of the United States, providing you with a great look at the different locales and terrains available. Two PvP challenge zones will be open for business, and two different customisation options will be available.
Pull over at The Crew website to sign up for the beta. If you’re heading out for the full release of the game, you’ll need to get off at the junction at November 11th.
Thanks, VG247.
