The Cyberpunk 2077 ARG has started sending out emails

Cyberpunk 2077 ARG

CD Projekt Red has a fondness for communicating directly with fans where they can, so keep an eye on your inbox. The studio has begun emailing those who cracked a password found in Cyberpunk 2077’s E3 trailer – and it’s doing it in the guise of a futuristic car company.

The studio stuffed their trailer full of secrets – a lengthy text message to fans, a bunch of Xbox codes for The Witcher 3, and the details of a hidden website. You can still find it by entering 212.91.11.20 if you want to feel like a hacker, or now more easily via the official Cyberpunk site.

The page asks for credentials to log into the system of a company called QUADRA, who specialise in ‘high-performance automotive solutions with a soul’.

Could Cyberpunk be one of the best sandbox games on PC?

The password was ‘NC20 CP77’, but there was a limit to the number of people who could enter it – those that did were met by an ASCII-style version of the CD Projekt logo, and now by an accompanying email.

The email congratulates the recipient on becoming eligible for a QUADRA VIP Welcome Package, which the company will send over once they have a delivery address. This sounds like the makings of a large-scaleCyberpunk ARG, so we look forward to hearing what those packages contain.

There’s no officialCyberpunk 2077 release datejust yet, but we’re expecting it by the summer next year.
