Cult hit anime puzzler Danganronpa’s third-person shooter sidestory “Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls” will be arriving on Steam next summer.

The game, which takes place between the first and second Danganronpa titles, eschews the usual visual novel and mystery solving gameplay to offer a little gunplay side-action while the story shoots off on a tangent, too.
After being trapped in an apartment for a year,Komaru Naegi, little sister to Makoto Naegi, is rescued by the Future Foundation just as the city is attacked by hundreds of black and white teddy bears called Monokumas. On top of that, the town has been taken over by a group of kids called The Warriors of Hope who have gone a bit Lord Of The Flies and are intent on creating a “children’s paradise” by exterminating all the adults.
Get around the city by shooting Monokumas and solve riddles, puzzles and other mysteries to get to the bottom of what sounds like some pure total Japan, scheduled for Q2 2017.
