Dauntless Prismatic Grace Exotic: how to get the rare piece of Exotic armor

This Exotic helm will help you and your team get back in the fight - here's how to get Prismatic Grace

Dauntless Behemoths - Pangar

How do you get the Dauntless Prismatic Grace Exotic? Adding this helmet to your collection is a sure-fire way of improving your abilities in battle, but how do you actually get your hands on this rare Exotic piece of armor? It’s not just a simple matter of taking down lots of Dauntless Behemoths until it appears in your inventory; instead, you have to go on a lengthy series of hunts and patrols to grab the Prismatic Grace Blueprint first, before gathering the materials you need to actually craft the Exotic helmet.

You’re going to want to get your hands on this helm though because it grants you the ability to give revived teammates invulnerability from damage for five seconds. That’s a lot of time when you’re nose-to-nose with a beast that wants to eat/stomp/claw your face. Plus, with Prismatic Grace equipped, the first time you take lethal damage you gain invulnerability yourself. This buff lasts for ten seconds instead of five, and if you can revive a teammate during it then both you and them will be fully healed.

This helm can literally be the difference between life and death, so it’s time to get down to the nitty-gritty of how to obtain Prismatic Grace for yourself.

How to get the Dauntless Prismatic Grace Exotic

The first step on this adventure is grabbing the helmet’s blueprint. Only then can you actually start crafting it. To get your grubby mitts on it, you need to go into Heroic Patrols or hunt the Rezakiri, which is a Radiant Behemoth that looks a lot like a very, very angry dragonfly. There’s no way of boosting your chances of getting this item though, so you just need to pray to gods of RNGs and wait for this crafting recipe to fall into your lap.

Once you’ve gotten lucky with that, you need to start farming for the crafting materials. You need to collect the following:

  • 75 Rams
  • 2 Rezakiri Chitin
  • 1 Exoskeletal Plate
  • 6 Neutral Furytail
  • 3 Neutral Tailgem

The good news is that you’ll probably have more than enough Rams, in fact, you should be more or less rolling in them by now. The Rezakiri Chitin and Exoskeletal Plate both drop from Rezakiri, so assuming you didn’t get incredibly lucky and get the Blueprint on your first try, you should already have all you need of these items, too.

The Neutral Furytail drops from the tail of a Raging Neutral Behemoth, so make sure to take weapons that are suited to slicing when trying to get these and time it when the beast is angry and glowing red. The Neutral Tailgem can only be obtained by breaking the tail of a Neutral Behemoth within the first two minutes of combat, it has to be Threat Level eight or higher as well.

Once you’ve managed to gather all of these ingredients together, you’ll be ready to craft this Exotic helmet. That’s it, that’s everything you need to know on how to get the Dauntless Prismatic Grace Exotic helmet. Just farm for the blueprint, then spend some more time farming for all of the ingredients. Then you can become the healer your party needs, but not the one it deserves.
