Dead by Daylight has welcomed almost all of horror's finest for some pretty terrifying crossovers over the years. Everything from Resident Evil to Silent Hill, and even Saw. Shudder. Now, the popular multiplayer game is opening its creepy doors to another iconic horror franchise, adding to its already impressive roster. The Walking Dead Chapter has finally arrived - and it comes with a surprise new survivor.
I'm not usually one for horror games, but there's a lot to be said for the kind that you can play with friends. Maybe it's that having company makes it a little bit less terrifying, or maybe it's just more fun when you have someone by your side who is just as terrified as you. No matter the reason, there's a reason why Dead by Daylight has consistently topped the list of best multiplayer games.
And now it's set to become even better with the launch of its latest chapter: The Walking Dead. It's practically a match made in heaven, as the latest update not only introduces the legendary Rick and Michonne as survivors, but also Daryl via a new legendary outfit for Rick. Get your head around that.
Some of the show's most memorable locations are also set to appear in the new chapter as unique map tiles which show up whenever Rick (or Daryl, depending on what skin your using) or Michonne are in the Garden of Joy.

It's rare that Survivors enter our game with an existing connection that runs this deep. Not only are they the perfect duo to take on The Entity's Realm based on their skills and experiences, but they've also got this very unique relationship for two Dead by Daylight Survivors which we're excited to represent."
It's the latest crossover in a bumper year for DBD, which earlier saw the characters of Five Night at Freddy's added in the game's most requested and best performing chapter so far.
