For those still having a little trouble getting to the actual killing/not killing bit of Dishonored 2, Bethesda have promised a performance patch this week.

Certain mid-range systems appear to be having some troubles maintaining a steady framerate, as we found in our port review of the newly released sequel.
"We have been monitoring the PC forums and social channels and while we're excited to hear that many of you are enjoying the game, we are disheartened that some of you are experiencing PC performance issues on some systems," developers Arkane Studios announced via the Bethesda news wire.
"We are actively working to provide an update to address your concerns. The patch and its release notes will be available in the coming days."
The post going up just before the weekend hasn't helped those of you holding off playing until everything's perfect for your first run, but the wait shouldn't be long now.
Until then, there are a few suggestions on how best to eke out some extra frames to keep it in a smooth state on the Steam community forums where kind souls are piecing together guides one what settings give you the most bang for your buck.
