Divinity: Original Sin 2 Kickstarter unlocks romance and shapeshifting stretch goals, now on final day of crowdfunding

Divinity Original Sin 2

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is smashing stretch goal after stretch goal, with the most recent addition being Chris Avellone as a writer on the game. Larian have announced that another two have now been achieved: Love & Hate and the Shapeshifting Mask, meaning two new features will be added to the game.

And, as the Kickstarter enters its final day, Larian are livestreaming for 24 hours.

Love & Hate adds dynamic relationships to the game, including friendships, rivalries, and romances. This will probably mean we’ll be seeing some BioWare-style hook-ups in Original Sin 2. The Shapeshifting Mask will allow players to assume different roles, such as morphing from a human to a lizard. This will allow different styles of play, apparently.

To catch up with everything going on at Larian, you can head over to Twitch to see their Divinity: Original Sin 2 Twitchathon, which will be on-going until the end of the Kickstarter campaign tomorrow.

In other Original Sin 2 news, GoG.com pledged $10,000 to the Kickstarter, and will be brainstorming to help create a new character for the game. You can help out by submitting a suggestion here.
