Oculus CTO and id Software co-founder John Carmack has said he is hard at work on giving VR a font that doesn’t cause headaches for users.
If you’ve joined the future already then here are the best VR games for you to get lost in.
Making reference to a fascinating blog on the subject of good typography byViljami Salminen, Carmack said that he was working on improving the legibility of text within VR spaces.
VR desperately needs better typography. One of the things I'm working on. https://t.co/z7xYhbeck0

The DOOM co-creator went on to say that he was working on TimeWarp layers to even out pixel density in fonts for higher quality UI rendering.
Despite becoming Chief Technical Officer for Oculus in August 2013, Carmack continues to work on code for improving the virtual experience.
After being awarded a BAFTA Fellowship for his work in March of this year, Carmack said: “Thank you very much for this honour but I’m just getting started.”
