Is EA FC 25 coming to Game Pass? It’s another year and another EA FC soccer game installment is on the way. While, historically, the series has never launched on Microsoft’s Game Pass service, there’s hope every year that the gaming giant will somehow strike a deal with the developer-publisher before deadline day to bring EA FC to the carpet.
The EA FC 25 release date is just around the corner, and this year’s game looks to be making the same sort of iterative tweaks as the sports games of yesteryear, albeit with a couple of new headline features. Unsurprisingly, then, there’s hope that the winds of change will also blow over to Game Pass, bringing EA FC 25 onto the service on day one for the first time. EA FC 25 Game Pass
EA FC 25 has not been announced for Game Pass, and as it stands will not be launching on the service on day one. At the very least, Game Pass PC and Ultimate subs will be able to access a ten-hour trial for the game via their EA Play benefits.
While it won’t be on Game Pass at launch, we expect EA FC 25 will eventually join the Game Pass games list much later in the season – sometime around June 2025 – based on the release cadence of previous EA FC and FIFA titles on there.
EA FC 24 was added to Game Pass in June 2024, during the year’s European Championship. This follows the trend set during the FIFA era of EA allowing its soccer games to get a final burst of activity on the service before the arrival of the next annual installment. In fact, pretty much every FIFA over the past decade or so has been on Game Pass at some point. If anything, it’d be a shock for EA FC 25 to not end up in the catalog before the season is out.
