Remembrance quests vary between each of the Nightfarers, and the difficulty of each objective can increase depending on how far you are into each chapter. You might also have to wait until a specific Nightreign Shifting Earth event is active before you can reach your objective.

Nightreign Remembrance explained
Elden Ring Nightreign Remembrances are accessed through the journal in the Roundtable Hold, which you can find up the short flight of stairs on the southeastern side of the main building. This journal reveals the story progression for each of the Elden Ring Nightreign classes. As you continue to play as each class, the journal automatically updates in the form of chapters that reveal their respective backstories.
Eventually, you'll reach a chapter that prompts you to "Begin Remembrance." Select it, and you'll be instantly transported to the Realm of Remembrance, indicated by the white haze at the corners of the screen. Before you embark upon your quest, you may need to speak to a specific NPC to discover your objective - if you're not sure what to do, open your map and approach the marked NPC.
Some Remembrance quests involve gathering certain items, while others challenge you to defeat a fearsome foe. In cases where you must drop into Limveld, you can find out exactly where you need to go by looking for the marker on the Nightreign map. Once you complete your objective, you don't need to worry about your current expedition progress, so feel free to end the day early if you wish.
After you've completed the Remembrance quest, head back to the Journal and report in to end the chapter. To participate in more Remembrance quests, you need Memory Fragments, which can be obtained as rare drops during expeditions. These can be quite difficult to acquire; sometimes they're available as rewards for expeditions, and others require you to successfully defeat specific Nightreign bosses.
Inviting players to your Remembrance
Be warned, if your Remembrance is active (as indicated by the white haze), then you won't be able to queue with other players who also have a Remembrance active. You can get around this issue by inviting players directly to your lobby, forcing the players in your group to play in your instance of the game.
Suppose you have multiple people in your group with active Remembrances using the invite method. In that case, only the person who started the mission at the Roundtable will have their objective on the map. Let's say you have two players currently working on Ironeye's quest to defeat a specific Night Lord, only the player who started the mission will receive the credit for completing it.
