The Elder Scrolls Online video shows first 30 minutes of the game

The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online is out now; here’s our Elder Scrolls Online review.

With us just a few short months away from the release of The Elder Scrolls Online and the beta remaining firmly closed you might be quite keen to see someone play through the first 30 minutes of the game. Particularly as the character played is called is a Breton Dragon Knight called Piefacekiller.

Update: Aaaaaand it’s gone. Turns out Zenimax aren’t fans of folk posting their views from the inside.

The video shows pretty much the same experience I had with the game at Gamescom. It feels a little empty and bland compared to Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls games but that should hopefully change when the world fills out with more players.

Tim had a much better experience with the game when he went hands-on with it last year. That was also when Zenimax showed off the first-person view for the first time, something which they’ve clearly been refined a lot since then.

Between now and the launch date Bethesda plan on expanding the closed beta by sending out thousands more keys. So hold tight if you still haven’t received a key.
