Watch out, look around, something’s coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2. T’is the season for a festive DLC. SCS Software packed their latest DLC to the gills with something magic: wintry skins for your trucks.
The holidays are coming and with them’s coming the Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Christmas Paint Jobs Pack. The six different paint jobs let you wrap your truck in Magic Ribbons, Santa’s Bag, Xmas Spririt, Gift Time, Santa Trucker, or Night of Wonders.
Disappointingly SCS didn’t manage to get the one Christmas truck skin that everyone would like to drive across the European motorways.
Coca Cola are the spirit of Christmas. None of that peace and goodwill to all men malarkey. The abscence of Coca Cola skin is palpable. However, they aren’t as central to Chrismas as you migh suspect. Before you say anything about them making Sanata red I’ll point you to Coca Cola’s own FAQ on the subject:
“It’s widely believed that today’s Santa wears a red suit because that’s the colour associated with Coca‑Cola, but this isn’t the case. Before theCoca‑Cola Santawas even created, St Nick had appeared in numerous illustrations and written descriptions wearing a scarlet coat.”
However, Coca Cola did popularise the jolly, swollen Santa. “Prior to this,” they say “Santa had been portrayed in a variety of ways throughout history: tall and gaunt; short and elfin; distinguished and intellectual; even downright frightening.”
