After a year where Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous have ruled the space-faring headlines, Everspace is a blast of minty freshness. Rather than simulating space flight down to the very tiniest fuel-management switch, Everspace just throws you into beautiful outer space and demands you shoot the heck out of everything. The Kickstarter-funded space game will be released in a playable alpha form to backers in March. If you didn’t stump up any cash to the Kickstarter, then you’ll have to wait for the October 2016 release, or buy-in with one of the options at the Everspace store.
