F1 2013 DLC brings new ‘90s cars and tracks to the game

F1 2013 Codemasters

Rob’s F1 2013 review is only just off the presses and, already, there’s DLC adding to the game’s standard set of tracks and cars. The two bits of content – F1 Classics: 1990s Pack and F1 Classics: Classic Tracks Pack – stick exclusively to the last decade of F1, a time before stringent safety measures saw the cars’ top speeds severely limited.

Expect these cars to be some of the fastest and most difficult to keep pinned to the tarmac.

The two tracks are Imola and Estoril. The former used to be the setting for San Marino’s Grand Prix and, the latter, the host of the Portugese Grand Prix.

Here are the cars offered in the 1990s Pack:

1992 Ferrari F92 A

  • Original Driver: Jean Alesi

  • Team Legend: Ivan Capelli

1992 Williams FW14B

  • Original Driver: Nigel Mansell

  • Team Legend: David Coulthard

1996 Ferrari F310

  • Original Driver: Michael Schumacher

  • Team Legend: Gerhard Berger

1996 Williams FW18

  • Original Driver: Damon Hill

  • Original Driver: Jacques Villeneuve

1999 Ferrari F399

  • Original Driver: Eddie Irvine

  • Team Legend: Jody Scheckter

1999 Williams FW21

  • Original Driver: Ralf Schumacher

  • Team Legend: Alain Prost

Both DLCs will set you back £6.50 and can be bought through Steam.

If you’ve bought the F1 2013 Classic Edition then you’ve already got this gear built into your game. Don’t go buying it twice now.

Cheers, RPS.
