Bethesda have issued a couple of teases from their Twitter account regarding upcoming content for Fallout 4. They’ve promised that information about the game’s first DLC will be coming soon, though we still have no idea what it will actually be about. They’ve also said that Fallout 4’s Survival Mode, appreciated in its existence but generally regarded as inferior to its New Vegas counter-part, will be getting significant changes.
Here are the best Fallout 4 modswe could find, buried deep in the radioactive wastes of the internet.
First, here’s what they had to say about Survival Mode:
We’re also doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode. Food, sleep, diseases, danger and more. Stay tuned.

Chances are, even if Bethesda don’t get it exactly right for your personal preferences, the power of the modding community will develop a tool to customise it further if Bethesda’s version is static. Personally, I enjoy addingsome of these elements to games – sleep, for example, gives each play session a stronger sense of realism and makes finding safe spaces important – while others turn me off. Food is just frustrating in any reality, is what I’m saying.
Meanwhile, on the DLC front…
We know you’re ready to learn what’s coming for Fallout 4 DLC. We’re not far off, and we think you’ll be excited.

Not a lot of intel there, but given Bethesda waited until the last possible moment to even talk about Fallout 4 itself, I doubt they would tease this until they were close to something more substantial. Expect more news within a couple of weeks.
