Far Cry 3 multiplayer trailer has actual animated teabagging

Teabagging, a wholesome staple of multiplayer gaming. Why, without it all we’d be is people shooting each other, now we’re people shooting each other and then desecrating the corpses of our enemies with a simulation of a sexual act considered obscene in more countries than you’ve got copies of Fifty Shades of Gray (yeah, I’m onto you – “They were both gifts”: butter my arse). Yet till now it’s not been endorsed by the game developers, they looked the other way. Far Cry 3 changes that, Ubisoft’s latest trailer for the jungle shooter shows off why you don’t want to be losing any matches, you know, besides being labelled a loser.

Via VG247, and lifted from their Youtube channel (we’ll sink our competitors by hopping on their bandwidth one video at a time):

Amid the balls on face action that you usually wouldn’t see outside ofthat corner of Redtube, there’s a whole lot to be interested in. On top of the standard fair of unlockable guns and abilities is anew variant on base assault:Firestorm.

Firestorm has both teams trying to defend two bases while assaulting their foe’s. All four of these mini camps are doused in gasoline and the goal is to have both of your enemy’s camps ablaze at the same time. Once you’ve started the fire, though, it can spread all over the map, closing off routes and opening others. Adding a little dynamism to each game.

Transmission also gets a talking up in the trailer but it’s essentially just King of the Hill.

There’s also nerve gas. Don’t take this the wrong way but I bloody love neuro toxins in games; not a simple “Have a whiff of this and you’ll pop your clogs” gasses but when they alter the players’ perception. In the case of Far Cry 3’s gasses, they make the effected see everyone as a foe, meaning a well-placed gas grenade in the middle of a confusing gunfight will have your opponentsindiscriminatelyfiring on their friends.

Far Cry 3 is out on 30 November.
