We can all remember the days of FarmVille right? The virtual fresh air, the golden crops, the beautiful animals. The simple, er, simplicity of a farmer’s life, since brought to Steam, albeit in very different guises, in games like Stardew Valley and Farming Simulator. Now imagine if they met and had a baby. That’s Farmer’s Dynasty.
Farmer’s Dynasty is part farming sim, part life sim. Starting with the classic ‘grandpa left me a derelict farm’ premise, you get to refurbish and then develop your own patch of land however you like, much like Farming Simulator. And much like Stardew Valley, you’ll make some friends along the way – tend to your fields or go make friends! We’re not sure if you can do both simultaneously – talking while driving a tractor might be pretty difficult.
Farmer’s Dynasty launched just last month on Steam and you can get involved for $29.99 (£24.99). There’s a whole little world to explore, but if you’d rather have a chance of taking a look for free, we happen to have 20 shiny new codes to give away.
