I know farming isn’t as easy, colourful, or charming as Farming Simulator 15’s trailer makes it out to be but it’s so damn picturesque that I want to get on a bus to the nearest field.
Seriously, you need to see this thing, it might make you reevaluate your current choice of abode.
Isn’t it just bloody gorgeous? Those warm colours, soft focus shots, and that plucky folky, song bubbling through it all.
Farming Simulator 2013 was a huge success for Focus Home Interactive, selling more than 2.5 million copies. You can tell where that money’s gone: the team have brought in a new engine that’s made it look so pretty, as well as giving the game a more accurate physics model.
There’s hundreds of acres of open world to harvest and both a Nordic and North American setting to play around with. And, according to the trailer’s blurb, you can “use and drive over 140 authentic vehicles and farming tools, from over 40 [of the] most famous manufacturers.”
What I want to try out is the 15 player multiplayer you can set up. Getting the rest of the team together to try our hand at running a farm.
Farming Simulator 15’s release date is 30 October.
