There’s not long left until the gates are swung wide open and you can all swarm into the freshly redecorated realm of Final Fantasy 14. But while you wait for that joyous day, Square Enix have seen fit to give you the tour of Eorzea in a new trailer.
The world is, in typical Final Fantasy ‘fantasy’ style, beautifully designed and bursting with colour (as opposed to their ‘sci-fi’ style, which constantly seems drab and grey). MMOs in general tend to be colourful, exciting affairs, but Final Fantasy 14 seems to be in the running for a podium finish in that race.
The game finally goes full-release on 27th August after a lengthy beta period.
