Fortnite’s 5.10 patch goes live today, but as ever, the enthusiasts over at Fortnite Intel did a bit of proactive datamining to give us all a preview of its contents.
Last night they dug up a few new cosmetics that we should see added to the game soon, and they include a new glider that is a shark with a laser attached to its head. Finally, Doctor Evil’s most nefarious and deadly vision has been realised, and for the low, low price of 2,000 VBucks. Everyone in the comments on Fortnite Intel is suitably excited.
It’s named ‘Laser Chomp’ and is of Legendary rarity – until we see it in-game it won’t be clear if the laser gun actually fires, but if we had to guess we’d say: “even if it does, it won’t do any damage.” We trust that helps.
Continuing what appears to be a nautical theme in this set of cosmetics, other highlights include a harvesting tool made from a lifeguard paddle, and a number of skins utilising SCUBA gear.
