Fortnite event schedule – here’s when every in-game tournament begins

Check out the full Fortnite event schedule so you don't miss any of the action

Fortnite

The Fortnite event schedule is here, as in-game tournaments begin today – and may already be underway, depending on what region you’re in. Events run for a handful of hours and are localized to evenings in their respective regions, so you might be looking for a schedule to keep it all straight. Luckily, Epic has provided just such a schedule.

The Alpha Tournament begins at 19:00 EDT / 22:00 PDT / 23:00 UTC on NA servers, and 17:00 BST / 18:00 CEST / 16:00 UTC on EU servers. In the less likely case that you’re reading this from one of the other three regions, it’ll be 22:00 UTC on BR, 10:00 UTC in Asia, and 6:00 UTC on OCE servers.

Those times will cover today’s inaugural Alpha Tournament, and pending any future changes it looks like they’ll continue to apply to all events going forward. There are some glitches forcing servers worldwide to only report NA times instead of local times in the client, but regional servers will still go live at their intended times.

Here are the dates for the currently announced events.

Alpha Tournament – October 16-21
Friday Night Fortnite – October 19 and 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30
Beta Tournament – October 23-25
Salty Springs Cup – October 27, 29, and 31
Tomato Temple Cup – October 28, 30, and November 1

Epic reports matchmaking and scoring issues with the EU side of today’s festivities, but hopefully those issues will be resolved ahead of further events – this is the alpha, after all.
