Fortnite Founder’s skins launch for “past and future” Save the World owners

Fortnite Founder's skins Warpaint and Rose Team Leader will soon be live for Save the World owners

Fortnite’s original Save the World mode is going free-to-play – eventually – but you can buy access now via a selection of Founder’s Packs. New Battle Royale skins are on the way if you’ve bought in early, set to launch as part of the 5.10 patch. That update is expected to go live tomorrow, and there’s still plenty of time to buy in if you haven’t already – and save some money in the meantime.

The new skins are Warpaint and Rose Team Leader, both of which are categorized as legendary, and come along with Pursuit and Skirmish Back Blings. Epic confirms that these skins will be available to “both past and future” Save the World owners. Founder’s Packs are currently 50% off, with the cheapest price set at $19.99 for the standard edition.

You can buy a Founder’s Pack at the official store. These skins were initially leaked months ago, labelled as “founder” items during datamining, but now we’ve got official confirmation of their existence – along with the details on when to expect them. Fortnite Intel hosts leaked images of the new Back Blings.

These founder’s skins will be out to celebrate Fortnite’s first anniversary, and there are also an array of birthday challenges to help ring in the occasion, which provide their own set of cosmetic rewards.
