Fortnite Season 5 Battle Pass skins

The Fortnite Season 5 skins have been datamined. Servers are still down ahead of the launch of Season 5, but miners Two Epic Buddies have posted all the new Battle Pass skins to Twitter. You can take a look at the tweets towards the bottom of this article.

There’s a whole host of new cosmetics, from skins to emotes, seeming to match the teases that Epic have been offering throughout the week. There’s that Nordic axe, for one, as well as the Kabuki mask that showed up in the first teaser.

Here’s everything we know about Fortnite Season 5.

There’s also a look at the new Fortnite Season 5 Battle Pass skin. Much like Season 4’s Carbide, this skin can be added to over time – starting with a shirtless warrior, who gains armour, a skeletal helmet, and an impressive beard as he levels up. The Kabuki mask could be a part of a second Battle Pass skin, which appears underneath the warrior in the image below. That image also confirms that there’ll be a new Season 5 mystery skin, similar to Season 4’s visitor skin.

New skins include a more traditional viking, a guy in a shark onesie, a couple of luchador, and a few more generic, streetwise-looking cosmetics. There are, of course, new pickaxes, which include a weird thing fashioned out of a balloon, as well as what appears to be a tire iron on a stick.

There are some excellent gliders in Season 5, including one fashioned after a viking longboat, and another based on a liferaft. Those luchadors are also well-catered to, but there does appear to be something made out of bejeweled denim, which is a throwback to the early ‘00s that nobody saw coming. There’s new back bling, with a shark fin and a giant penguin, as well as a rainbow unicorn, new trails, and plenty of new emotes – particular highlights at this point are ‘Calculated’ and ‘Stage Bow’. Nothing, however, can be better than ‘FingerGuns’.

You can check out the rest of the items via TwoEpic Buddies on Twitter, or take a look at some more Fortnite skins. The Fortnite Season 5 patch notes went live earlier today, revealing changes to the game’s map, as well as introducing the new four-player golf cart vehicle and a new take on progressive challenges. Servers have just gone live at time of writing.
