The event, Ninja Las Vegas 18, seen the Twitch streamer play nine games of Fortnite with a mix of semi-pros, fans, and influencers – awarding $2,500 for every win and $2,500 to every person who managed to kill him.

At one point, the live-streamed event drew 680,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch, breaking Ninja and Drake’s previous record of 628,000 concurrent viewers.

Ninja earned four top-10 finishes and one win during the tournament. He ultimately shelled out $50,000 in prize money, donating the money from his one victory to an Alzheimer’s charity of his choice.
